Tailgate starts at 1PM Sharp...
The Spartans and Iowa are two very similar programs...
Both are smash mouth teams... both run a 4 - 3 style defense...
And more of an NFL offense then that crap Michigan is attempting to initiate.
Iowa is ranked 7th in the nation.. and this will not be an easy game..
Vegas has the game as a pick'em, or Iowa giving MSU 3 points....
This game has National repercussions...
MSU could break into the top 25 with a victory... While Iowa could drop out of the top 15...
As we have said multiple times before.. This is the most difficult game the Spartans will face this year.. We said this in July.. and stand by it now.

Taking care of the football will be a major factor of who wins and who loses on Saturday...
Iowa has recovered 7 of opponents 13 fumbles,
The Spartans have recovered 4 of opponents 8 fumbles.
Spartans have pulled down 4 interceptions, the Hawkeyes have pulled in 15.
Getting pressure on Stanzi, and making sure the Iowa ground games stays missing will also be key...
Spartans have recorded 22 sacks, Iowa only 13.
Iowa's rushing yrds: 846, Spartans: 955
Same idea, different slant: MSU has been sacked 6, and Stanzi on his back 15 times.....
The Difference between the final scores of each game between MSU and their opponent has averaged: +7.7 per game, Iowa has beaten their opponents by an avg. of +9.9 a game.....
But, I'll take Kirk' Cousins' passing arm and our receivers, plus our true freshman RBs over Iowa's skilled players.......

this isn't right you gotta look at the schedules.Iowas beaten pennstate and wisconson both in very hostle stadiums. look at spartans schedual you have no quality wins you barely beat central michagan. I know we havent been spectacular either but we always find a way to win. also before you predict a game look more closely at iowas turnover ratio its plus thirteen you cant top that. iowa wins in a close game i will give you that much
