Spartans (4 -1, 1 – 0 in the Big Ten)

1) Iowa has not really played a significant opponent except for the loss to the Wild Cats..

2) Iowa “D” Secondary is weaker than the Spartans..  the NCAA rankings are masked by the teams they have played.

3) I have my doubts about how strong the Iowa “D” line is, but they did hold NW to 106 rushing.

4) The Spartans are now even stronger than Iowa since Kendall Davis-Clark is back in the Secondary.

5) Revenge… That 2OT loss in IOWA City last year SUCKED !

6) Otis Wiley Third in NCAA with 4 Ints…

7) Brandon Long is back at DE.

8) Ringer is a Beast.. What a Back he has turned into… Leads the NCAA in Rushing touchdowns with 12, and 235.6 all purpose yards per game.

9) Brett Swenson is a STUD !

10) The “O” Line is giving the Backs holes, and Hoyer time to throw.

11) Mark Dell; is 3rd in the Big Ten and 35th on NCAA in receiving yards.

Spartans will Run on the Hawkeyes..  Javon  has another 150Yd day Plus.
Hoyer is still accurate.. Receivers catch balls.. allot less of the Dropsies…

Iowa “D” Line of Clayborn, King, Kroul..  We’ll have to see…   They have a couple Jrs in the back field, but all in all, they are pretty young.. Should be able to bump and leave them in the Dust…
